Convoluted Technologies Pty Ltd designs Thermal &/or Seismic flexible solutions to each unique customer application, movement or space requirements.
The Thermal Assemblies are designed to absorb continuous thermal expansion or contraction of pipe work and the seismic assembly is designed to absorb one major seismic event in the XYZ axis.
(It is recommended that seismic assemblies be replaced after any seismic activity)

As the pipe work moves, the legs of the assembly will begin to flex.
Both legs must be free to move to operate properly.
The degree of movement is dependent on the hose diameter, type of hose used, dynamic bend radius and hose live length.
The final product configuration is depending on type of hose loop used to match the customer’s space requirements and
our minimum requirements to achieve the requested movement.
We know that each installation has its own unique set of requirements, therefore we offer custom made solutions for each individual application.
There are two scenarios on why to install a flexible metal hose assembly loop in your system; to compensate for:
Flexible Metal Hose does not attract pressure trust loads resulting in an installation with normal guides and anchors.
Flexible metal hose is cost effective.
Australian Gas Association (AGA): Convoluted Technologies Pty Ltd carries full certification approval for Flexible Metal Hose Assemblies to AS 4631-2005 Standard and Super-flex braided hose assemblies from 6mm to 50mm inside diameter with a maximum pressure rating of 2600 kPa and assemblies from 65mm to 200mm inside diameter with a maximum pressure rating of 1500 kPa. Our certificate number is 6745.
Convoluted Technologies Pty Ltd carries a WaterMark licence to WMTS-520-2016 Technical Specification for the manufacturing of Flexible Metal Hose Assemblies used with heated water up to 90°C and cold-water supply applications above ground, that are accessible and not submerged. We are licenced to manufacture Standard-flex braided hose Assemblies from 20mm to 50mm inside diameter with a maximum pressure rating of 2500 kPa and assemblies from 65mm to 200mm inside diameter with a maximum pressure rating of 1200 kPa. Our Water Mark licence number is 60120.
The fully metallic construction, gives the product its fire rated properties.
