Convoluted Technologies stock both Standard-Flex and a Super-Flex annual corrugated metal hose, which is hydraulically formed from Stainless Steel 316 L grade strip, the inner tube shape allows the fully metal corrugated tube to bend, in un-braided configuration it could only withstand low pressures. The stainless steel 316 outer braids commonly single braid or double braiding provides the pressure capability.
Our stocked standard-flex and super-flex, convoluted metal hose and outer braiding is in stainless steel 316 grade, other grades and higher presser metal hose can be supplied on request.
A large diversity of end connections made from Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, Copper or Brass in any possible configuration can be welded to the to the stainless steel braided hose assembly.

WaterMark Licence
Convoluted Technologies Pty Ltd carries a WaterMark licence to WMTS-520-2016 Technical Specification for the manufacturing of Flexible Metal Hose Assemblies used with heated water up to 90°C and cold-water supply applications above ground, that are accessible and not submerged. We are licenced to manufacture Standard-flex braided hose Assemblies from 20mm to 50mm inside diameter with a maximum pressure rating of 2500 kPa and assemblies from 65mm to 200mm inside diameter with a maximum pressure rating of 1200 kPa. All components must be 316 grade stainless steel. Our Water Mark licence number is 60120.
ActivFire Certified
Convoluted Technologies Pty Ltd carries a ActivFire product certification for our Standard Flex STFL1 and STFL2 flexible metal hose to be used in fire protection applications.
