Flexible Metal Hose

Convoluted Technologies stock both Standard-Flex and Super-Flex normal pressure Convoluted Hose which is hydraulically formed from Stainless Steel 316 L grade strip. Standard outer Braiding is Stainless Steel 304 grade other grades can be done on request; the hose configurations are available in Un-Braided, Single Braided and Double Braided with a large variety of end connections made from Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, Copper or Brass in any possible configuration.

Product features:

Temperature range from -270 °C to + 816 °C, chemical resistant, no gas permeation through the hose wall, unlimited shelf life, available in a range of sizes from 6 mm to 300 mm inside diameter, all hose manufactured to ISO10380.

Corrugated hose and hose assemblies, standard fittings manufactured to ISO 10806 Fittings for corrugated metal hose and custom made end fittings to customer's special needs.

The following additional services or certification should be taken into consideration by the customer at the time of quoting:

Hydrostatically strength / leak tested and certified to ISO 10380 standards

Nitrogen leak tested (Pneumatic test) certified to ISO 10380 standards (Maximum pressure 2 Bar)

Dye penetrant test to ISO 9712 standards level 2

Quick Vaccum test if none of the above has been performed.

Australian Gas Association (AGA): Convoluted Technologies Pty Ltd carries full certification approval for Flexible Metal Hose Assemblies to AS 4631-2005 Standard and Super-flex hose assemblies from 6mm to 50mm inside diameter with a maximum pressure rating of 2600 kPa and assemblies from 65mm to 200mm inside diameter with a maximum pressure rating of 1500 kPa. Our certificate number is 6745.

Convoluted Technologies Pty Ltd carries a WaterMark licence to WMTS-520-2016 Technical Specification for the manufacturing of Flexible Metal Hose Assemblies used with heated water up to 90°C and cold-water supply applications above ground, that are accessible and not submerged. We are licenced to manufacture Standard-flex hose Assemblies from 20mm to 50mm inside diameter with a maximum pressure rating of 2500 kPa and assemblies from 65mm to 200mm inside diameter with a maximum pressure rating of 1200 kPa. Our Water Mark licence number is 60120.

EN10204 Metallic products types of inspection documents: type 2.1, 2,2, 3.1 or 3.2 certification, Inspection and Test Plans, Third party inspections, CAD drawings, CGA G4.1 Oxygen cleaning and many more customer specific requirements can be met.
