Composite Hose Manufacturer
Composite Hose Assemblies
We are an Australian based composite hose manufacturer. We manufacture a complete range of composite hoses, on our state of the art automated manufacturing line, assuring our customers a consistent quality product. (These hoses are also known as Code hoses, Fuel & oil transfer hoses, Aviation transfer hoses, Hydrocarbon transfer hoses, Chemical transfer hoses, Cryogenic transfer hoses, Ship to shore transfer hoses, Bunkering hoses, & specially manufactured Dock hoses).
Convoluted Technologies team of employees are highly experienced in the manufacturing and assembling of Composite Hoses, we take great pride that our services will meet customers individual needs. If you have any questions in relation to Composite Hose products or services don’t hesitate to ask!
Our Composite Hose is manufactured in 25 or 20 metre long coils depending on the hose diameter. This is complimented by our trialled & tested full range of unique end connections, allowing us to supply any possible kind of Composite Hose Assembly configuration.
The hose is constructed with internal and external wires made out of galvanized steel, stainless steel 316, polypropylene coated steel or aluminium. The internal wire's purpose is to support the hose wall and prevent the hose collapsing under suction. The external wire gives the hose resistance to crush, seals the layers of fabrics and films tightly together and protects the hose from external abrasion. Both wires connect to the end connections to discharge static electric charge with the exception of if one of the wires is polypropylene coated steel wire or if the end connection is made from nonconductive material.
The outer cover of a Composite Hose can be made out of two different materials depending on the purpose of the hose. It acts as pressure reinforcement, it protects the other materials from ultra violet rays, gives additional abrasion resistance and with different colour combinations between the outer cover and identification strip we are able to identify the different types of hoses at a glance.
A combination of purposely selected films and fabrics make up the hose wall - ensuring the tremendous range of chemical resistance, working temperatures and working pressures.
We carry a full range of hydrocarbon, chemical and cryogenic transfer hoses, all in compliance with the relevant Australian and international standards: AS 2683, AS 2117, AS 1180, BS3492, BS3492, BS EN 13766, IMO BCH CODE and IMO IGC CODE.
